As we all know Social Media posts have become more and more important, if you want your website and thus your services to be found on the Web. If you do not advertise your company website and services on the Internet’s new Social Media platforms such as Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Blogger/Blogspot and Delicious you will receive less visitors to your pages. It is no longer enough to just have a nice website or blog. The new media needs to be served too.

For some time now there has been a new member in this group. Google created a competitor to Facebook with Google Plus (Google+). What many people don’t know is that posts in Google+ may also influence the search results in ‘normal’ Google searches. The references Google+ has the more important the site may seem to Google and make the webpage appear further up in the search results.

The amount of work you have to put into maintaining a current webpage, posting to a blog, and all the different social media individually is staggering. You would just end up writing these posts full time and wouldn’t get any honest work done. We have found a solution for our customers to this dilemma.

With the new WordPress plugin: ‘Social Networks Auto Poster’ by Next Scripts you only need to write posts once in your WordPress blog and they are automatically also posted to all of the above social media accounts. The only disadvantage is that you cannot post to a Facebook business account. This is due to the fact that you cannot create apps for Facebook business accounts as they only have a subset of the functionality of ‘normal’ accounts.

Additionally we created a Typo3 extension that automatically reads and displays the last posts on blog in a news page, so you can also show the latest developments on your company webpage.
